Care of WATERMAN Series ROLLERS:

• When changing colors, clean the water from rollers using automatic cleaning. Make sure that the cleaner does not get mixed into the water pan. For the water fountain (metering) roller, clean by wiping by hand. Clean thoroughly with a cloth containing NEW MATICLEAN. Finally, wipe with a dry cloth.
• In normal printing, we recommend cleaning three times a day: at noon, in the evening, and when finished printing.
• When using special ink colors (e.g. metallic, fluorescent, or UV), the ink tends to adhere on the water fountain (metering) roller, and does not come off easily, so we recommend cleaning this more frequently.
• Do not use chlorine solvents or polarized solvents such as ketone.

NPW50 successfully minimizes aging of rollers, therefore operators do not need to adjust nip-width often. Nip-width needs to be adjust once a month for conventional rollers compared to NPW50 which needs to be adjusted only once in 6 months.
